Weigh out 12g of hardener
-
Add 24g of resin, this will cover a 6 x 4 inch (150mm x 100mm) photo block.
-
If the resin is really thick, you can heat this mix in the microwave for 3 seconds, it will make it easier to mix.
-
Mix well until there is no visible difference between the two products – around 2 minutes.
-
Pour half of what you need into the middle of your project, with your stick pull the resin out to the edges.
-
Now the resin is out to the edges, pour on the rest of the resin. Most resin these days are self-levelling, so you don’t have to worry about that side of things. But if a side looks like a piece of material with a pulled thread all puckered or it has a dent/hollow in it chances are you need more resin.
-
Torch with a gas torch… not matches incase the match end drops into the resin. Do this twice before the 25-30 minute mark to release the air bubbles, most will pop out naturally.
